Things You Can Create

Oh the things you can make! Here are just a few ideas of things you can make using your cardboard tube knitter:

Funky Chunky Lollipop Bouquet

1. Knit a cord about 25 – 27 inches long.

2. Roll knit cord into a spiral using glue dots or hot glue to hold the shape in place. Trim off yarn ends. Click on above photo for a tutorial on sewing the spirals for small lollipops.

3. Work a wooden dowel/stick up through the bottom of the spiral or hot glue the dowel onto the back.

Scarflace

Cozy like a scarf. Worn like a necklace.

1. Knit two thick cords of differing lengths (knit cords in photos are about 24 inches and 34 inches long).

2. Tie each knit cord into a loop. Intertwine the loops as shown and pull ends to tighten.

3. Tie loop ends together into a knot. Trim yarn ends.

Cute As A Button Wreath

1. Knit 3 off white cords each about 13 feet long for a total of 39 feet. That’s a lot of knit cord but it’s fun and easy to make!

2. Start by looping a piece of yarn around the styrofoam circle as a hanger. Next secure the end of one 13 foot knit cord to the circle by using a small amount of hot glue. Wind the entire knit cord around the circle. Secure the end with a dab of hot glue.

3. Repeat the same process with the remaining knit cords. Tuck all yarn ends into the completed knit wreath. Finally, glue a burlap bow onto the knit wreath and decorate with wood buttons!
